I largely use this as a dictionary- being a professional in the audio industry but not a classically trained musician this app has saved me a lot of time. Its simple, the interface is pretty clean (much better since the last update) and it contains a wide breadth of information. Worth every penny.

Great resource for scales and chords. I use this a lot, to be honest!! Would totally recommend to any serious pianist.

Most useful piano app ever.

This is a very useful app worth it!

Although I should be able to remember all the natural skills for their keys this is a great help whenever I just simply cant pull it up as fast as I need to. It has help me begin to craft songs as well as give me new ideas when it comes to melodies and even harmonies. If you are interested in practice or just memory games this is a awesome app and one. It is even better on the iPad because you can play the keyboard on the road.

I am an experienced musician of almost 40 years. I also have seen (and presently own) some of the best music reference apps on the market. In the first release of this app, it is already one of the very best. It easily replaces three of the best piano reference apps I own. A terrific and well-thought-out resource. My only problem: theres little room for improvement. In a word, excellent. Still trying to grasp all the information contained in this app. If youre serious about music, theres a lot of necessary info here.

Worth the upgrade

very usable and complete app! Better than other apps I found. Especially the reverse search of chords/ scales and the possibility to quickly prelisten to chord progressions make this one stand out. Usable for pros and beginners alike IMHO

Ive been "hunting" for something quite a while now, and by chance found this app!! Its REALLY good!! I would only like to be able to transpose the piano 1 octave lower. (To get the right sound). Only 5 stars and up!! Thank you!!

Uncluttered, easy to use, comprehensive, perfect if you need all available chord combinations in any key.

After the latest fixes: appears all the functions are working. I will review for a time and report on my experience with the functionality. If everything functions as described this could be a very useful app

Really handy to have nearby when Im writing tunes

A spectacular app whether your a beginner teaching yourself or a seasoned pianist this app is essential. Easily the most in depth chord library available, a chord progression generator that is leaps and bounds ahead of any other. A full featured scale dictionary a circle of fifths wheel that surpasses apps dedicated solely to the circle of fifths. Combine that with the ability to reverse lookup both chords and scales wrap it up and throw it into an easy to navigate never confusing interface an you have the single best app for piano players anywhere period. A must buy.

Purchased this app (June/2015) Tried to save a chord progression to file within the app———it doesn’t save———also the app does not transfer the file to the iTunes file folder————very disappointed ———if someone has had success with saving files I would appreciate you leave a comment
